Dear colleagues, hello 👋

6. You gave us specific feedback - here is our plan
Your feedback:
I find it quite challenging on LinkedIn to find the link to the Friday calls. I search and search (and maybe it is mobile vs desktop) and it is hard to find.
Our plan:
Let’s Talk Risk! subscribers will now receive an email every Thursday with a link to that week’s Friday LinkedIn event. Please check your spam folder in case you are not receiving our emails.
Your feedback:
I love the channel and the network that has grown up around it, but I sometimes feel like I don't have enough bandwidth to absorb all the emails and other content. I do like the Let's Talk Risk chats that take place online at a pre-determined time and (internet) location - it makes it easier to dedicate time to engage with the community. Another thought: the sum total of articles, podcasts, and other materials collected represents quite a knowledge base. It may be helpful to synthesize some of that content into more accessible formats, or dedicated articles - like a 'how to' or 'best practices' series.
Our plan:
Great idea! Occasionally, I will curate some of the most popular content in a review post, how-to’s and best-practices articles.
Your feedback:
I'm very interested in hearing more about more formal methods and tools for better hazard analysis.
Our plan:
Yes, this is on my high priority list, as announced earlier in this post. I will also invite guest articles from other experts. If you are interested in contributing, please contact me. At this time, I am unable to commit to a fixed frequency, but you can expect to see more focused posts and discussions on hazard analysis techniques in the coming months.
Your feedback:
I love all your sessions, very informative for a beginner like me, one advice please try to have more regulatory folks be part of the event and talks about regulatory MedTech updates not alone quality or risk management if possible.
Our plan:
Thank you for your feedback - yes, regulatory topics will continue to remain a focus. In the past, several regulatory experts have shared their insights in podcasts, for example:
This will continue in future.
Your feedback:
Discuss more real life examples of process risk assessments
ALARP and ALAP approaches. Curious how the EU is complying with ALAP as it is unreasonable in reality whereas ALARP is sufficient when following ISO 14971.
AI in Risk Management for Medical Devices
Practical examples for Extracorporeal circulation devices
Advertising/Promotion of Medical Devices in US and EU.
Our plan:
These are excellent topics for our AMA on risk management series. I will include them in future posts in this series. I plan to post at least one AMA article each month. Please continue to share your risk management questions or specific topics. Click the button below to send me a direct message.
